Nigerian artist Patrick Nnaemeka Okorie, better known by his stage name Patoranking, has been selected to perform at the Qatar 2022 FIFA World Cup.
The reggae-Dancehall performer will share the world stage with DJ Aseel and Hassan Shakosh for the World Cup, which begins on November 20.
At the FIFA World Cup fan event, the winner of the 2022 Headies award will perform in front of a sizable audience and spectators from all around the world.

Shakosh is set for December 12, and Aseel is set on December 2. At both occasions, bands like Miami Band, Gims, and Julian Marley and the Uprising will perform alongside these artists.
Apparently, Patoranking’s most well-known song, Abule, converted him to the World Cup organisers.
Despite the Super Eagles’ inability to qualify for the World Cup, the rave-of-the-moment Nigerian artist Davido was included among the musicians from all around the world to deliver this edition’s theme song.
Additionally, the popular song “Buga” by Buga crooner Kizz Daniel will be performed during Qatar’s 2022 FIFA World Cup opening ceremony.
Oluwatobiloba Daniel Anidugbe, a talented musician, will provide a performance right before the opening game on Sunday, November 20 in Qatar for the entire world.
