Ohanaeze Ndigbo Worldwide, an Apex-Igbo socio-political group, has resisted Miyetti Allah Kautal Hore’s proposal for grazing reserves in the southeast.
According to the group that portrayed the proposal as a diabolical scheme to take family land, there is no acreage in the southeastern region for grazing reserves.
In a statement issued Tuesday, Ohanaeze Secretary General Okechukwu Isiguzoro stated that Miyetti Allah’s demand is a threat to national peace.

Isiguzoro also remarked that the use of threats of violence to create conditions for peace plainly demonstrates that Fulani organizations are to blame for the problem in Nigeria related with farmer-herder clashes.
According to Ohanaeze, there are no grazing routes or area for grazing reserves in the southeast, and the restriction on open grazing and carrying cattle on foot remains in effect.
