The event, which took place at the Oriental Hotel Lagos on October 29th, 2022, was graced by the presence of their Grand Patron, Chief Benson Chinedu Madubuko (CEO De Chico Investment Ltd), their Patron; Chief Dr Innocent Chukwuma (CEO Innoson Motors Ltd), the Chairman of the Occasion; High Chief Kenneth Ifekudu (CEO Diamond Leeds Ltd, the President of the association; High Chief (Dr) Sir Darlington Nwabunike, the Founder of the association; Chief Evans Emesim, traditional rulers, dignitaries and executive members of De Imperial Philanthropic Family.

According to the President, High Chief (Dr) Sir Darlington Nwabunike, the organisation would “contribute in new and more powerful ways to a societal ecosystem that connects the benefits of philanthropy to those who need it most and work harder to drive inclusive growth of the global economy.” “We shall endeavor,” Nwabunike stated, “to bridge gaps within and across communities through expanding access to education, scholarships, and human capital development that improves society’s productivity and quality of life.”
To that purpose, De Imperial Philanthropic Family will engage in inclusion programs and collaborations, as well as leverage the association’s existing strategic goals and objectives. According to him, the group is dedicated to its CatchThemYoung project, which aims to increase access to education for youth from underrepresented backgrounds.
