Apple warned customers on Monday to expect delays in the shipment of iPhones due to COVID-19 restrictions at a Chinese manufacturing plant.

Foxconn’s iPhone plant in Zhengzhou, China, is temporarily closed due to restrictions, affecting the primary iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max assembly facility.

There were reports recently that workers at the iPhone assembly plant in China fled the premises after a surge of COVID-19 cases forced a complete lockdown.
