Ifeanyi Okowa, Delta State Governor and People’s Democratic Party, PDP vice-presidential candidate, represented Abubakar Atiku, while Tinubu and his running mate, Kashim Shettima, were not present.

At the presidential town hall meeting held by Arise TV on Sunday, Obi confronted Dino Melaye, Spokesperson, Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Presidential Campaign Management Committee.

The drama began when Dino Melaye branded a meeting attendee as ‘Obi people.’

Dino was heard saying, “Na wa o, Obi people,” as one of the audience stepped up to challenge the presidential contenders.

When Peter Obi heard Dino’s statements, he snapped at the PDP official.

Obi said, “Stop that Dino. Why are you always calling me? I won’t take that. This man is from ANPP. Why are you calling him Obi people?”
