Gboyega Aribisogan, a member of the Ikole Constituency in the Ekiti State House of Assembly, has been chosen as the new assembly speaker.
On Tuesday, Aribisogun was chosen at the plenary.
He succeeded Funminiyi Afuye, the previous speaker of the Ekiti State Assembly, who passed away on October 19, 2022, following a brief illness.
