The media team of Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, presidential candidate of the governing All Progressives Congress (APC), has dismissed queries about whether their boss worked for the American firm Deloitte.

In an interview with Newsmen, Tinubu stated, “I resumed employment at Deloitte training school in June 1979.” By April 1979, when I graduated, I had mapped out my future. And that was the most important thing I accomplished in America.”

However, Deloitte stated that Tinubu never worked for the firm and that his employment records are not in their databases.

In response, Bayo Onanuga, the Director of Media and Publicity of the Tinubu/Shettima Presidential Campaign Council, stated that the campaign team is exclusively focused on the flag off of its presidential rally in Jos.

Onanuga advised Newsmen not to accept anything they read on social media, when asked if Tinubu worked with Deloitte.
