Paul Ibe, a media adviser to Atiku Abubakar, the Peoples Democratic Party’s presidential nominee, has accused the All Progressives Congress of enthroning a culture of violence in Nigeria at various levels.

Ibe stated that same behavior was witnessed in Borno and Kaduna States during Atiku’s presidential campaign rallies.

He denied that the PDP’s presidential candidate was ready to resign from the presidential election due to his inability to reconcile the party’s conflict with the five disgruntled governors.

Cousin Ray, a Twitter user, stated that a person close to Atiku was becoming increasingly agitated by the lack of traction in his campaign and the party’s crisis.

Ray further stated that the presidential contender expressed to his allies his aversion to risking another embarrassing performance in the 2023 general election.

Ibe, on the other hand, questioned whether persons making these claims were under the influence of drugs or alcohol.

“We may need to investigate what those people are smoking, what substance they are taking. You heard what Governors Wike and Ortom said; it is very clear and those who live in glass houses should not throw stones.

“I can assure you that whatever issues we have in the PDP will be resolved because they are getting attention. Meanwhile, the roads have started the campaigns.”

He accused the APC of using means to spread propaganda, saying, “The APC as a political party has enthroned a culture of violence in Nigeria, it is that same culture that made them go violent in Borno State at all levels, the state and federal levels.”
