2023: I’ll negotiate with IPOB, MASSOB – Tinubu

Bola Tinubu, the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate, has committed to negotiate with all agitators in the Southeast during the Biafra movement headed by Nnamdi Kanu, leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB).

Tinubu stated that if he is elected president in 2023, he will negotiate with all agitators to ensure peace in the Southeast.

He made the commitment at an APC presidential and governorship campaign rally in Ebonyi State on Thursday.

Tinubu urged that instead of resorting to violence, people should use diplomacy to get their demands and complaints met.

If elected president, he has also promised to invest in education.

“Education is the greatest weapon against poverty. We are going to get our children’s education. We will reform the education sector.

“We want peace l, we will talk to all agitators. You can’t get your wishes by conflict but by sitting round the table to complain,” he said.

Kanu has recently been at the vanguard of the movement to realize Biafra.

Despite being imprisoned, IPOB has continued its efforts to realize Biafra.
