Porsha Williams, an American reality TV personality, married Nigerian entrepreneur Samuel Guobadia in a traditional ceremony on Friday.
According to People, the couple staged the ceremony in front of 250 guests at the Four Seasons Hotel Atlanta. On Saturday evening, they will have a white wedding.
In an exclusive interview with People, The Real Housewives of Atlanta star expressed her excitement for the momentous move she was about to take.
“I am just so ready. I’m not even nervous. I mean, I know I’m marrying the love of my life, and it’s just going to solidify our relationship and our family bond. I’m calm and excited,” she said.
Guobadia, while also expressing his excitement, said he was a little nervous but for another reason.
“When you say you’re a little nervous, and you’re about to walk down the aisle, people are thinking, ‘Uh-oh,’” he said. “But my nervousness comes from the family members and friends who I haven’t seen in a long time coming into Atlanta!,” added Guobadia.

Williams and the Nigerian entrepreneur announced their engagement in May 2021 shortly after Guobadia announced his split from ex-wife Falynn, another star from the Real Housewives of Atlanta show.
Our relationship began a month ago — yes we are crazy in love,” Williams revealed in the announcement. “I know it’s fast but we are living life each day to its fullest. I choose happiness every morning and every night.
“Tuning out all negative energy and only focused on positive wishes. He makes me so happy and to me, that is what matters most. It’s truly a beautiful moment in my life & we cannot wait to spend the rest of our lives together,” Williams added.
