Additionally, our source learned that the Federal Government continued to hold back the eight-month arrears.

This information was provided to our correspondent in Abuja on Wednesday during an interview with a senior member of the union at Bayero University Kano.

“Some of our members have started receiving salaries and I can confirm to you that we received our full salaries for the month of November. However, the arrears are still withheld.”
ANAEDOONLINE.NG reports that the Federal Government refused to pay the striking lecturers for the eight months which the union embarked on strike.
