Abia Varsity Alumni Gather In Lagos For A Summit

On Saturday, December 3, 2022, the Lagos State chapter of the Alumni Association of Abia State University, Uturu, will have its summit.

The summit’s subject is ‘The Role of Alumni Associations in Nigeria’s Education System.’

Professor Onyemachi Ogbulu, Vice-Chancellor of ABSU, will be present at the event, which will take place at Dover Hotels in Ikeja, Lagos State capital.

In the e-flier sighted by our correspondent on Friday, the Executive Director and Group Chief Operating Officer of UBA group, Dr. Alex Alozie, and Executive Director of Zenith Bank, Dr. Adobi Nwapa, would be special guests at the event.

The national president of the ABSU alumni association, Umeh Kalu SAN, a former Abia State Attorney General, will grace the event alongside other stakeholders.

Other special guests at the event include Professor Obi Iwuagwu from the Department of History & Strategic Studies, University of Lagos, and Prof Theodore Chineke from the Atmospheric Physics and Renewable Energy department, Imo State University.
