The Ohanaeze Youths Movement has backed the Central Bank of Nigeria’s (CBN) decision on the new withdrawal limit policy, claiming that the House of Representatives’ decision to oppose it was pushed by accused vote buying’ agents.

The group urged the House to revoke its suspension ruling in a statement made available to Vanguard in Abuja on Friday by the organization’s Secretary General, Nwada Amaka.

With the resolution, the youths said that the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Femi Gbajabiamila, and other lawmakers who rejected the CBN policy were dancing to the tune of their godfathers.

“We are therefore calling on the Gbajabiamila-led House of Representatives to reverse the illegal anti-cash withdrawal limit resolution and apologize to Buhari”, the youths said.
