Nigerians have taken to social media to react to the declaration of the presidential ambition of Governor Dave Umahi of Ebonyi State.
Anaedoonline.ng earlier reported that Umahi had confirmed that he has informed President Muhammadu Buhari of his intention to contest the 2023 presidency.
He made this known on Tuesday while speaking with State Correspondents after a meeting with the Nigerian leader at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.

Umahi disclosed that Buhari directed him to seek the support of the people and consult widely with party members and chieftains across the country.
The Chairman of the South-East Governors Forum added that he is not disturbed about the presidential ambition of the APC National Leader and former Lagos State Governor, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
However, some Nigerians have applauded Umahi’s declaration of his presidential bid, while others mocked the Ebonyi governor for the move.
