Eze Chukwuemeka Eze, a senior member of the All Progressives Congress and a former national spokesperson for the disbanded New Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), has urged Atiku Abubakar, a former vice president and PDP presidential candidate, to halt any further efforts to advance reconciliation with Nyesom Wike, the governor of Rivers State, and his G-5 group.

It is only appropriate for the “Waziri Adamawa” and the leadership of the umbrella party to focus attention and invest in more fruitful political ventures that would yield results at the polls in 2023, according to Eze in a statement made available to media outlets in Port Harcourt. He claimed that after expending so much energy and resources in an attempt to bring the disgruntled elements to parity without success.

Eze, a prominent APC member who was instrumental in the party’s formation, claimed to have diligently observed recent developments in the PDP involving Wike and his conflict with Atiku. He now wants to express his opinion on the issue and propose a solution to the dilemma that seems intractable.

Eze suggested that the conflict between Atiku and Wike is not the result of any miscommunication or other issue, but rather a political oversight on the part of Wike, who never took the time to research Atiku and his political strategy.

Eze claimed to be a close friend of Wike and advised him not to support Atiku, but the Rivers Governor believed he was an expert on Nigerian politics.

The party chief intimated that he also counseled Atiku to keep Wike at a distance since he was a student of Atiku’s political strategy. The former vice president took the excellent advice, and the subsequent altercation between the two has further opened Atiku’s eyes to my wise counsel.

“As a matter of fact, if Wike could abuse, insult and do everything he did to humiliate Amaechi, his destiny helper and biggest benefactor; who appointed him as his Chief of Staff and recommended him to be appointed a Minister of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, who else in this country will be spared by Wike’s unbridled loquaciousness and backstabbing,” Eze said.

2023: Forget About Returning To Power – Presidency To PDP

“With the poor attitude Nigerians have seen Wike exhibit, ranging from his draconian orders and prohibitions to his unrestrained and embarrassing loquaciousness, Nigerians owe some gratitude to the PDP and Atiku for saving the country an international embarrassment.

Eze called on Atiku to “forget the political jesters and forge ahead with his political campaign as this group that lacks integrity has lost their relevance in the scheme of things.”

“Whoever Wike feels like supporting for the 2023 Presidential election is inconsequential as such a candidate should forget about the elections because Wike has proved himself a very bad marketer and will only bequeath gross misfortunes on such a contestant.”
