Chibuzor Nelson Azubuike, well known by his stage name Phyno, is a celebrity rapper from Nigeria who has denied having sickle cell illness.
The native rapper addressed a claim made by a follower on Twitter that Phyno had sickle cell anemia.
The supporter, Ele Peter, claimed that learning that Phyno had sickle cell disease made her love for the musician treble.
“Since I learnt Phyno has sickle cell, the love has increased,” she wrote. I ask God to give him courage to carry on fighting.

On Wednesday, Phyno responded via his official Twitter account and refuted the fan’s unguarded remark.
He also sent his love and best wishes to everyone who was afflicted with the illness.
The singer wrote: “Lol. No, I do not have sickle cell. Love to everyone fighting it though.”’
Hemoglobin, the protein that transports oxygen throughout the body, is impacted by a series of genetic red blood cell abnormalities known as sickle cell disease.
