Rev. Fr. Ejike Mbaka, Spiritual Director of the Adoration Ministry Enugu Nigeria (AMEN), bemoaned the fact that despite Nigeria’s abundance, its citizens endure untold poverty as a result of poor governance.
Mbaka returned to the state on January 4 after spending eight months away, according to news reports, and there was celebration in some areas of Enugu State’s capital.
Following the June prohibition on church activities in the ministry, the Catholic Bishop of Enugu Diocese, Most Reverend Callistus Onaga, posted Fr. Mbaka from the Catholic Chaplaincy of the Adoration Ministry to the Monastery in October 2022.
Eight Months After Suspension, Fr. Mbaka Returns To Adoration Ministry
Rev. Fr. Anthony Amadi was appointed as the Chaplain of the Chaplaincy in his place.
However, his followers flocked to the Akanu Ibiam International Airport in great numbers to welcome the returning priest who rose to fame for his spiritual efforts and contentious forecasts after spending roughly eight months in a monastery to consider his past deeds.
Mbaka landed by the Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta on January 3rd 2023 at the Murtala Muhammad International Airport Lagos. He was welcomed warmly when he landed at the Akanu Ibiam International Airport in Enugu on January 4, 2023.
In his opening lecture on Friday at the church’s prayer grounds, the Catholic monk said, “Nigeria is gifted with everything but cursed with lousy leadership.”

Fr. Mbaka had proclaimed 2023 as the year of favor upon his return and prayed for the congregation’s labors to be fruitful.
