BBTitans: 20 Housemates Compete For $100,000 Big Brother Titans

Big Brother Titans, the highly anticipated television reality program, premiered on Sunday amid great fanfare (today).

This particular show is exclusively open to Nigerians and South Africans, in contrast to the regular Big Brother Naija format, which only involves Nigerians, and Big Brother Africa, which has housemates from throughout the continent.

A South African woman named Cossy, 25, was the first housemate to be revealed. She characterized herself as a humorous but also “serious” individual.

Nigerian Yemi Cregx was revealed as the second housemate. He said he was eager to learn more about South Africans throughout the course of the program.

They immediately started talking to one another. When Cregx eventually assisted Cossy in adjusting her wig, numerous people posted about it on social media.

Juicy Jay, Nelisa, Mmeli, Khosi, Ipeleng, Thabang, Yaya, Khehla, Tsatii, and Justin are more South African housemates.

Olivia, Blaqboy, Nana, Marven, Jaypee, Ebubu, Jenni O, Kanaga, and Yvonne are contestants from Nigeria.

Naturally, there has been a lot of hype about the program, especially given that it will air as the nation gears up for general elections.

Charly Boy Questions BBTitans Reality Tv Show During Election Season

John Ugbe, the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of MultiChoice Nigeria, the organization that organized the program, said in a speech that it was essentially unavoidable given the show’s popularity that Nigerians and South Africans would not be placed in the same home.

He responded to accusations that the program would keep Nigerian youngsters from participating in the upcoming general elections by saying that they were aware of their priorities.

He said, “As two of the biggest economies in Africa, it was only a matter of time before something like this would come up. Just like there has been a clash of music genres such as afrobeats (Nigeria) and amapiano (South Africa), there was bound to be something of this nature.”

The Independent National Electoral Commission also made a statement during the event instructing Nigerians on how to obtain their permanent voter’s cards.

Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, a Nigerian, and Lawrence Maleke, a South African, will co-host it.

Saga, Dorathy Bachor, and Gerald were in attendance for the live broadcast of the program (Nigerian Idol winner). D’banj, a self-described Koko master, gave a performance as well.

BBN (Level Upfinal )’s season aired from July 23 to October 2, 2022. It was won by Phyna, who grinned to the bank with a N100 million big prize; the previous BBA was held in 2014, over ten years ago. Nigerian Tayo Faniran, the winner, took home prizes totaling $300,000.
