The Nnewi North Local Government TC Chairman, Engr. Chris Obiorah has refuted the allegation of importing fulani terrorists into Anambra State.
In a letter sent to Anaedoonline.ng, the top construction engineer called the alleged allegation, baseless, vexacious, callous, misleading and defamatory.
He, however, encouraged Nnewi North and Anambra residents to go about their normal business as him and the state security apparatus collaborate to lift the state to greater heights

I wish to sieze this medium to refute the publication on the aforementioned subject matter which has circulated widely on social media about my involvement in the purpoted influx of non – state actors into Nnewi North Local Government Area.
The article is an absolute fabrication, baseless, vexacious, callous, misleading and defamatory.
This article was written with the sole intent to cause confusion, panic and disaffection amongst the peace loving indigenes and residents of Nnewi North Local Government Area.
I outrightly condemn this article in its entirety, as not even a sentence in the said publication has an iota of truth.
I call on all peace loving people of Nnewi North Local Government Area, friends, well wishers, and partners in progress, to disregard this malicious write – up, as I assure that all cardinal objectives of our state government for the development of our local government are being implemented to the letter, and the well-being and security of it’s residents, remain our top priority.
The progress, development and sanity being introduced in our administration, are glaring, and we will continue to work for the progress of our dear town, Nnewi.
While working closely with relevant security agencies and the authority to unmask the authors and promoters, I enjoin the good people of Nnewi North and Anambra to go about their normal business as we collaborate to lift our state to greater heights.
