2023 Elections: Why I Started Progressive Alliance for Peter Obi – K.C Okoli

Kingsley Chukwudi Okoli , the founder and Spokesperson of Progressive Alliance for Peter Obi Nnewi Chapter, has clearly stated that the ‘Obident’ Movement across Nigeria is purely based on voluntary donations and service. “People believe in the man Peter Obi to be a man selling creativity, production, good governance, and all the tenets of good governance that will run a country in a 21st Century”.

In an exclusive interview with Anaedo TV on the 18th of January, 2023, Okoli spoke extensively about Progressive Alliance for Peter obi and their plans to capture all areas across Nigeria to preach the ‘Obidient message’.

In his words, “the Progressive Alliance for Peter Obi cuts across the 6 geo-political zones, across the 36 states in the Federation with over 200 support groups that are actively involved in grassroots movement, and basically what they do is contact mobilization, telling /teaching people how to vote”. In turn, People are willingly giving their talent, time and resources free in support of the ‘Obidient’ Movement. “We have been getting tremendous help from individuals in different spheres”.

Okoli further emphasized that people are solidly behind Labour Party’s presidential candidate Peter Obi because “the two major political competitions PDP and APC are in the ‘old order’ and the evolution of what is going on in Nigeria is massive”, the masses are significantly with the ‘new order’ and that encompasses Peter Obi’s stance for governance if been elected President. “People are welcome to be part of this movement regardless of race, tribe or how much money you have, we don’t really care what, we care about is let voters come out and vote and also see what they are voting for.
