Antonio Conte, the head coach of Tottenham Hotspur, will have surgery right away after waking up on Wednesday morning with significant abdominal pain.

Conte was diagnosed with cholecystitis after experiencing abdominal pain, and his gallbladder will be immediately removed.

Following the procedure, the Italian manager is anticipated to miss a couple of games.
His assistant Cristian Stellini is anticipated to oversee Sunday’s matchup between Tottenham and reigning champions Manchester City in the Premier League.

A statement on Wednesday from the club read, “Antonio recently became unwell with severe abdominal pain.
