The Chairman/CEO of Tummy Tummy Foods Ltd, Chief Chika Emenike will on Saturday, Feb 4th be conferred an honorary doctorate degree at the 8th Convocation Ceremony of Imo State University.
The University in a letter sent to the Tummy Tummy Boss and signed by the Vice Chancellor of the University, Prof U.U Chukwumaeze, SAN, FCArb stated that the University Senate has approved that Chief Chika Emenike is conferred with Honorary Doctorate Degree based on his track records and contributions to humanity.
Chief Chika Emenike is an astute entrepreneur cum industrialist. He is the Group Chairman of Kotec Group with subsidiary companies such as; Tummy Tummy Foods Ltd, producers of Tummy Tummy Noodles, Event Beverages Ltd, Producers of Event Table Water, Kotec Industrial Co Ltd,b producers of Kotec auto spare parts, Kotec Bricks Tiles Ltd, Rento Hotels, Mangrove Restaurant, and Regime Energy Services Ltd.

As a philanthropist, the Tummy Tummy Boss built and donated a Charity home called The Health of The Sick House. The Charity home is located at the Ave Maria Centre which is a home for the spiritually, mentally as well as physically retarded.
On November 27th, 2021, Chief Emenike donated a Pro-Cathedral Church named St Michael Catholic Parish Uruala in Imo State which he singlehandedly built to the Glory of God. The same year on December 26th, 2021, he gave the sum of Ten Million Naira to St Paul’s Anglican Church, Uruala, and St Silas Anglican Church Uruala to support their Church building project
To mark his Birthday last year 2022, the Billionaire Philanthropist used the occasion to Mark his birthday to empower some of his kindred and members of his community who had little or nothing to do with start-up funds up to One Million Naira to start a business. Up to 20 persons received the empowerment grant.
In recognition of his contribution to Nation Building, on May 12th, 2022, the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria conferred the National Productivity Order of Merit Award- NPOM to Chief Chika Emeninike. The honor was given to him as a result of his hard work, high productivity, and excellence.
