Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola may be on his way out after the club was charged with violating various financial laws on Monday.
The Premier League has accused City for violating financial restrictions between September 2009 and the 2017/2018 season.
An impartial panel has now been appointed to look into the incident.
If City is found guilty, they could face a variety of penalties, including a point deduction or possibly expulsion.

The Premier League champions issued a statement saying they are “surprised” by the Premier League’s claims.
While the investigation could take years, the financial charges placed serious doubts on Guardiola’s future, with Betfair rating him at odds of leaving before the start of the next season.
Guardiola is also in the running to be the next manager to leave England’s top flight, only nine months after leading City to their fourth league title in five seasons.
