Christian Atsu Found Dead, Days After Turkey Horrific Earthquake

Christian Atsu, a Ghanaian professional football player, was found dead around two weeks after going missing in Turkey, as a result of Syria’s devastating earthquakes.

According to news reports, the 31-year-old athlete was one of thousands of people caught up in the horrific catastrophe eleven days ago.

Hundreds of bodies had been discovered previously, but Atsu’s name was not among them.
Following that, word spread that his booths had been discovered among the rubble. According to another story, the athlete had left his hotel room before to the event.

Nevertheless, according to a fresh story, the rest of the former Chelsea, Malaga, and Newcastle United player was discovered in the rubble left by the earthquake.

Newsmen reports that the sad development was confirmed by Atsu’s agent in Turkey, Murat Uzunmehmet.

“Christian Atsu was found and had unfortunately passed away,” the agent confirmed in a terse statement on his Twitter page on Saturday morning.

Before the tragic tragedy, Atsu was a player for the Turkish team Hatayspor. After a long career that had brought him through several of the world’s top leagues, the Ghanaian great was playing in Turkey.

Atsu scored a last-minute goal in the Kasmpasa game, allowing his team to make a significant difference.
According to reports, the athlete planned to travel to see his family but cancelled his flight after doing well and scoring for his team in the previous game.
