Several ladies in Kogi Central have taken to the streets to protest what they call “injustice” in the district’s senate election results.

The women in a white ritual demonstration requested the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to do honour to their ballots and announce Natasha Akpoti Uduaghan as Senator-elect in video recordings obtained by TRIBUNE ONLINE.

According to ANAEDOONLINE.NG, the white ritual is performed at sacred times to summon the ancestral spirits of battle against people who cheat or bring harm to the land.
After the irregularities that marred the process, Natasha had rejected the proclamation of Abubakar Sadiku-Ohere of the All Progressive Congress (APC) as winner of the February 25 election for Kogi Central Senatorial District.
