According to information obtained by Anaedoonline.ng, Mr Ikechukwu Obiora of Otolo Nnewi murdered his wife, late Mrs Ebere Obiora.
According to eyewitness (Name withheld), “the husband of the deceased, Mr Ikechukwu came back to his house in the morning of 2nd of March 2023, was knocking at the gate for the wife to open the gate, but the wife who was bathing couldn’t come out immediately to open the gate.
“When Mr Ikechukwu finally entered the house,he started shouting at his wife,slapping and hitting her and from there, he strangled her to death.

“Out of shock,as Mr Ikechukwu didn’t expect that his wife would die,he quickly ran outside and explained what happened to few people secretly for them to know what was on board.
“He left the dead body from that morning in his house,as he was confused on what to do,till in the evening of that day that his mother called the family of their inlaws to tell them that their daughter slumped.
The act is a very wicked and gruesome to say the least.
