Ikedi Orji reminded the people of Nnewi that he would do all that is contained in his manifesto especially to sponsor and co-sponsor bills if elected into office.

“The first line in my manifesto says that I will sponsor and co-sponsor bills. Example, there is a dead bill that would have developed Nnewi, that bill brought by Nwafor Orizu was called the “Nnewi Urban Authority” was structured to create Nnewi as a special status community where the local government and stakeholders will see to the planning, financing and management of ndi nnewi. They will also look into the allocation of resources and political powers in Nnewi…”

The bill was supposed to authorize the people to make legitimate requests which will lead to a more advanced Nnewi, transforming Nnewi from people who seek allocation and attention from the government into those that the government consults for negotiations. In order to achieve such, he urged the people to vote for YPP on the 11th of March. As this trust will give birth to diverse positive transformations in Nnewi.
