Obi Urges Anambra LP Assembly Candidates To Cooperate With Soludo After Victory

Mr. Peter Obi, a candidate for the Labour Party’s presidential nomination, has urged party members contesting for House of Assembly seats to prepare for victory.

Obi, who met behind closed doors in Awka with the aspirants for the house of assembly.

At the meeting behind closed doors, Obi told reporters that he had given the candidates a mandate to win as well as instructions on how to cooperate with the eventual state governor, Prof. Chukwuma Soludo.

Obi was responding to a video in which Prof. Chukwuma Soludo, the governor of Anambra State, declared that he would not cooperate with lawmakers from other political parties who were elected to the House of Assembly.

“We are not urging anyone to impeach any other person. We held a meeting with our assembly members, and we are calling on Nigerians to vote for Labour Party. “We are not asking anyone to impeach anyone.

People should not be afraid of impeachment. We only seek to get things right in Nigeria.” Obi pleaded with Anambra voters to vote for Labour Party Candidates for Anambra State House of Assembly on March 18th and urged those that won the National Assembly election to render service while in office.
