Emeka Obioma, a forward with Enyimba and the current top scorer in the Nigeria Professional Football League, has been named the NPFL League Bloggers Player of the Month for February for his outstanding play during the month in question.
Obioma won the prize for the month of February with five goals, defeating Amas Obasogie, the goalie for Bendel Insurance, Osarenkhoe Imade, and three other players.
For the second time this season, Monday Odigie, the Bendel Insurance handler, won the coach of the month award.
Odigie emerged ahead of Akwa United’s Deji Ayeni, Finidi George of Enyimba and Baba Ganaru of Lobi Stars after guiding the Benin Arsenal to three wins and two draws to maintain their unbeaten run and finish the first stanza on top of Group A.
