In Gombe state, a 38-year-old teacher was detained for allegedly defiling four students.
The students, who are eight, nine, twelve, and fourteen years old, are sisters from the same father. The suspect was detained for sexual assault, according to the state police spokesperson, ASP Mahid Abubakar.
Adamu Ali, the students’ father, alleged that the sexual assault occurred between January and March.
“The suspect, who resides in Malam-inna quarters, Gombe, committed the act at the Islamiyya school located in the same village,” according to the statement. The victims were sent to a hospital for medical assessment.”

Ali said the suspect has confessed to the crime and would soon be charged to court for prosecution.
