UPDATE: ICC Issues Arrest Warrant For Putin Over ‘War Crimes’ In Ukraine

The International Criminal Court (ICC) has issued an arrest warrant for Russia’s President, Vladimir Putin.

The ICC issued an arrest warrant in connection with the illegal deportation of children from Ukraine to Russia.

Until Ukraine Ends Discrimination Against Russian-Speaking Citizens, Russia Vows To Continue Military Invasion

According to an ICC statement issued on Friday, the warrant became required following the prosecution’s request on February 22, 2023.

It stated that beginning February 24, 2022, Putin bears individual criminal responsibility for offenses committed on Ukrainian territory.
