Aisha Yesufu, a social critic and human rights activist, has joined others in condemning politicians’ use of tribal prejudices in the 2023 general election.
Yesufu expressed her feelings in a message on her verified Twitter account on Sunday.
Remember that political thugs working for politicians prevented several Lagos residents, particularly Igbo, from voting in the recently concluded Gubernatorial and State House of Assembly elections.

She bemoaned the fact that certain people were raised with generational hatred, insisting that Nigerians come together to confront the issue.
“It is not just politicians. People were brought up with generational hatred and until we sit down and address it, we will continue to have it reoccurring. It doesn’t come up only during politics,” she tweeted.
