The Nigeria Police Force has announced the arrest of one Chude Nnamdi, a fervent supporter of the Labour Party’s presidential candidate, Peter Obi.

On Saturday, March 18, 2023, the LP fan with the Twitter handle @chude__ was arrested in Onitsha, Anambra.

According to reports, Chude is currently being investigated for cyber-stalking by the Nigeria Police Force National Cyber Crime Centre in Abuja, over a petition about his social media activities, which violates Section 24 of the Cybercrimes (Prohibition, Prevention, etc.) Act, 2015 and other criminal laws.
Although the NPF did not identify the identity of the petitioner, numerous social media users claimed that the arrest was not unrelated to Anambra State Governor Prof Chukwuma Soludo.
