Journalist Osasu Obayiuwana claims that Dozy Mmobuosi, a rich software entrepreneur from Nigeria, is still working towards his goal of acquiring control of Sheffield United in the English Championship.
The 43-year-old billionaire had discussions with the current owner, Prince Abdullah, last year and submitted a £90 million proposal for the Blades.
Once the interest was made public last year, negotiations have stalled as a result of what Mmobousi regarded to be undue scrutiny in the acquisition process.

The billionaire has stated his willingness to supply the information required to complete the sale, so it seems likely that it will eventually go through.
Sheffield United are second on the English Championship table and in good position for the Premier League promotion with 73 points from 38 games.
