As Nigeria’s general elections unfolded, political intrigue reached fever pitch, capturing the nation’s attention.
These critical elections, held on February 25th, determined the president, vice president, members of the Senate and House of Representatives, as well as state governors in 31 of 36 Nigerian states.
Among the most searched personalities, Peter Obi, the Labour Party presidential candidate, surpassed even Nigeria’s president-elect, Bola Ahmed Tinubu. The People’s Democratic Party (PDP) presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, came in fifth place.
