Similar results occurred in Kebbi, where the APC received 388,258 votes compared to the PDP’s 342,980, prompting INEC Returning Officer Professor Yusuf Sa’idu to declare the election inconclusive.

According to him, the choice was influenced by violence, the destruction of voting materials, interference with the electoral process, and excessive voting.

All eyes will be on the two states, each of which has 20 local government areas (LGAs) participating in the second round of voting, as both governorship elections have been deemed inconclusive.
