Nasiru Idris, a candidate for the All Progressives Congress (APC), has been crowned the victor of the Kebbi State governorship election of 2023.
The Returning Officer for Kebbi State announced Idris as the winner on Sunday in Birnin Kebbi, the state’s capital.
He beat Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate Maj-Gen. Aminu Bande (ret.).
