Osinbajo Opens Up On 2023 Election Warns Political Leaders On Prejudice

Professor Yemi Osinbajo, the vice president of Nigeria, has cautioned leaders, including those in public offices, against all types of discrimination.

Leaders do not have the luxury of playing about with bias, according to Osinbajo.

He made the proposal, according to Laolu Akande, his senior special assistant for media and publicity, who was quoting him, as part of his initial remarks about the general elections in 2023.

The Vice President made the submission, according to Akande in a Monday tweet, while giving a speech at the National Institute for Policy and Strategic Studies (NIPSS) in Kuru, Plateau State.

He wrote: “In his first comments on 2023 general elections, VP Osinbajo says leaders dont “have the luxury of toying with prejudice. The leadership elite have a duty to conduct themselves with a high sense of responsibility even as they prosecute the contest for power.” He spoke @NIPSS.”
