14 of the 24 constituency seats in the Enugu State House of Assembly were won by the Labour Party, or LP.
The confirmation was provided on Tuesday by the Independent National Electoral Commission, or INEC.
The LP obtained 14 seats in the March 18 state elections, according to the umpire’s list of members-elect.
The remaining 10 seats in the new 10th House, which will be seated in June, will be held by the ruling Peoples Democratic Party, or PDP.
Rex Achumie, the INEC’s Head of Voter Education and Publicity in Enugu, provided a list of the candidates, parties, and votes received.
Achumie urged the general population to ignore any unapproved lists shared on social media.
