Senator Chimaroke Nnamani, the federal legislator for Enugu East, has urged Peter Obi, the Labor Party’s candidate for president in the most recent election, to revoke his petition against Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

Peter Obi was urged by Nnamani to join Tinubu in the effort to transform Nigeria in a series of tweets published on Sunday.

He asserts that Obi’s case has little chance of success in the presidential election since he lacks both national appeal and support.

He emphasized how Obi is “bad-belling, being petulant, and demarketing Tinubu” with his petition.

“His petition is dead on arrival. He does not have the spread or national appeal. His appeal to non-electoral matters is to demarket the President-elect and besmirch his reputation.

“He does not have near spread and national appeal. His petition is ego-driven, a joke carried too far. His attempt to highlight non electoral issues is trying to embarrass the President-elect.”

Peter Obi should get off his high horse, he said, and allow calm heads to bargain for a safe landing on behalf of the Igbo and the South East.
