Joe Igbokwe, a senior member of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Lagos State, has reacted to the absence of Igbos from Bola Tinubu’s transition team.

He questioned why Tinubu didn’t include Igbos on his transition committee.

In addition to the prior lists provided to the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Boss Mustapha, by the transition committee, Tinubu forwarded a 13-man list.

Igbokwe responded by challenging the veracity of the article that claimed Igbos were excluded from the committee.

In a Facebook post, Igbokwe wrote: “Please let someone help me to investigate this: can it be true that Asiwaju Transition Committee was formed without any single Igbo on the list? I’d not want to believe it is true. May it not be true.”
