The Supreme Court has been requested to provide justice in the case of the agitator by Aloy Ejimakor, Special Counsel to Nnamdi Kanu, leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB).

He requested that the Supreme Court make sure Kanu’s trial is over today.

He stated in a tweet that when resolving Kanu’s case, the court should be guided by equity, justice, and moral conscience.

Panic As Supreme Court Hears Nnamdi Kanu’s Appeal Today

According to Ejimakor: “As the Supreme Court convenes to hear Onyendu # MNK’s appeal today, let equity, justice & good conscience guide the hand of the Court to undo the grave injustice that was done to Mazi Nnamdi Kanu almost two years ago. Injustice has an expiry date. Let today be that expiry date.”

According to prior news reports, Kanu’s appeal against his ongoing imprisonment at a Department of State Services (DSS) facility in Abuja will be heard by the supreme court on Thursday (today).

The appeal was brought on November 3, 2022, and it was against the Court of Appeal’s ruling that, on October 28, 2022, had ordered a stay of execution of its previous order clearing him of all accusations and ordering his release from the secret police’s custody.
