With only a few days till he is sworn in as the next democratically elected President, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu is likely to follow tradition and choose a director from the Department of State Services (DSS) to serve as his chief security officer (CSO).

According to news reports, former President Umaru Yar’Adua first had late Abdullahi Charanchi from the DSS serve as his CSO before being replaced.

But when the late president was governor of Katsina, Yusuf Tilde, the DSS director, was a better fit for Yar’Adua.
