Professor Ihechukwu Madubuike, a former Minister for Education and Health, has declared that Ndigbo will never again grovel for political posts.

This was said by Madubuike in response to the exclusion of Igbos from Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Transition Committee.

The elder statesman reportedly bemoaned that Igbos are sick of pleading for inclusion in a nation where they are significant stakeholders.

”We are tired of begging in a country that we are serious stakeholders especially when we know we are bringing something to table.

”Nigeria’s rejection of the Igbo is her loss because we have talents that are marketable.”

Speaking, Madubuike asserted that Igbos in Nigeria have experienced significant marginalization and have resigned themselves to their lot while expressing hope for better times ahead.

“We have endured margination for over a century now. So, we just need to get our loins guarded as we strategise, and plan for better days which must surely come,” he added.
