Charly Boy, a well-known stage name for veteran Nigerian singer Charles Oputa, has expressed his regret at losing his father, Justice Chukwudifu Oputa.

According to Newsmen, Justice Oputa served as a Nigerian Supreme Court justice from 1984 to 1989 when he was still alive.

He was most recognized for leading the Oputa group, which looked into former military juntas’ violations of human rights.

The entertainer bemoaned that he missed the time when his father, Justice Kayode Esho, Justice Anyagolu, and a few other Judges were at the supreme court in response to a rumored list of Supreme Court judges intended to manage the 2023 election tribunal.

Charly Boy claimed that persons who appeared before the judges indicated above were frequently assured of justice.

In a recent tweet, Charly Boy shared images of the alleged Supreme Court judges who would preside over the 2023 Presidential election tribunal. He added, “Na true say na these judges go handle the fuckup of INEC?

“I remember those days wey Justice Oputa, Justice Kayode Esho, Justice Anyagolu and a few other Judges were at the Supreme Court.

“Everybody knows say to appear before these men Justice is assured and guaranteed.”
