Princess Abiodun Oyefusi, the deputy governorship candidate of the Labour Party in Lagos State, has urged elected National Assembly lawmakers to allocate the Senate presidency and Speakership seats to women.
She made this request on Monday while discussing political participation in Lagos, adding that the federal legislature would lead to having an inclusive government in the nation.

She further urged politicians to embrace the verdict on the implementation of the national gender policy granted in favour of Nigerian women by Honourable Justice Donatus Okorowo of the Federal High Court.
In June 2023, the 10th National Assembly would be inaugurated after the swearing-in of the President-elect, Bola Tinubu.
