As of Tuesday, after the required paperwork is completed, jets from AirPeace and the Nigerian Air Force are ready to transport the students to Abuja.

The Commission claims that of the 449 students who crossed the border, priority was given to female students.

Numerous neighborhoods in the greater Khartoum area have been destroyed by weeks of fierce fighting, which also left hundreds of bodies rotting in the streets.
