Frank Lampard, the interim manager of Chelsea, has stated he will not accept a similar position again in the future.

After Graham Potter was fired from the Blues in April, Blues co-owner Todd Boehly temporarily hired Lampard.

All six of the games the former player has been in charge of so far have ended in defeat.

However, the 44-year-old has since said he is no longer willing to accept temporary employment.

“I’m happy here but I don’t want to be an interim manager in my next job. I haven’t got regrets.

“When I came back here I certainly took it on with a lot of heart and understanding that it was short term. But I don’t want to be an interim manager again,” Lampard said.
