Meanwhile, Davido has praised the Supreme Court’s confirmation of Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke’s election.
News outlets had previously reported that Adeleke, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate in the July 16, 2022, gubernatorial election, had been confirmed as the governor of Osun by the supreme court on Tuesday.
Adeleke was confirmed as the governor of Osun state by the five-member Supreme Court panel, which was chaired by Justice John Okoro.

In the ruling read aloud by Justice Emmanuel Agim, the supreme court ruled that Oyetola had not shown sufficient proof to support his claim that there had been excessive voting in the July 16, 2022 governorship election.
The panel also unanimously decided that the Osun election tribunal’s inability to take into account the preliminary objections made by Adeleke and the PDP at the trial stage amounted to a violation of procedural fairness and rendered the entire proceeding null and void.
Davido claimed in a post sent from his verified Twitter account that his uncle would keep surprising his critics.
He wrote: “We go Dey shock dem like high tension!!@AAdeleke_01 🇳🇬🙏🏾💡”
