Police Detain ‘One-Chance’ Syndicate, Save Victim In Lagos

According to the Lagos State Police Command, it has detained two members of a ring that specialized in using cars to rob unsuspecting passengers.

SP Benjamin Hundeyin, the command’s spokesperson, confirmed the arrest on his verified Twitter account on Thursday.
The suspects were identified by Hundeyin as male Seun Oke, 29, and female Folashade Sholagbe, 36.

According to him, the suspects were detained on Thursday in the state’s Ikeja neighborhood after their victim raised the alarm.
Following their victim’s cries for help, “eagle-eyed officers of the Iju Division arrested the suspects,” he claimed.

The image-maker said that the suspects used to pick up unsuspecting passengers with intent to rob them of their valuables.

“The suspects specialised in picking their victims with their Corolla car at 7up by Toll gate,” he said. (NAN)
